What's it about?
Rebecca is directing a play her friend Doug wrote about a lesser-known historical figure when she learns that Doug has done some malewashing, downplaying the role of the female character in the story. After Rebecca uses her skills as a director to return the woman to her place of prominence, Doug flips out (even though she hasn't changed a word of his dialogue) and starts a war of words that divides them and makes the show notorious. What do we owe to historical fact and what can we dismiss by waving the wand of "artistic license?β
